A self-running content engine
The pipeline behind this very site: it drafts, optimises, and deploys SEO content on its own, with a human review gate.
The challenge
As a solo consultancy, publishing SEO content consistently is unsustainable by hand — but a content-thin site can't rank. We needed an engine that produces authority content without the daily manual grind.
What we built
- A Google Sheet acts as the content queue; local AI (Ollama) drafts SEO-structured articles and service pillar pages against a topical-authority map (pillars → clusters).
- Headless WordPress (WPGraphQL + ACF + Rank Math) stores the content; a custom plugin fires an automatic Vercel deploy the moment a draft is published.
- A fast Astro site renders it with FAQ / Service / Breadcrumb schema and auto-generated featured images.
- A one-command menu runs the whole pipeline — and nothing goes live without a human review.

Outcome
Content drafts itself and deploys on approval, at near-zero running cost (local AI + free tiers) — turning constant manual publishing into a review-and-click workflow. An evolving system we keep refining.
